CLG Naomh Columba Club Notes

Our ladies team kicked off their season with a comprehensive win over Naomh Brid on Sunday, they are in action at the weekend away to dungloe day and he to be confirmed. 

Also our u16 boys continued their fine start to the season with a 6 point victory in Bundoran and now play at home on Sunday morning against St Nauls.

Naomh Columba in association with our neighbouring club Kilcar intend to hold a heart screening day on Saturday 4th May at Colaiste na Carraige.

The screening will be carried out by the Healthy Heart Healthy Lives organisation and anyone from 14 years upwards can avail of this screening. 

Anyone wishing to be screened should contact Martin Carr on 087 6797995 before the 29th of March to receive their patient questionnaire to bring on the day.

Our Ladies team kicked off their season last Saturday in the Comórtas Peil na Gealtachta away to Kilcar, running out comfortable winners in the end, they kick start their league campaign this coming Sunday at home to Naomh Brid throw in at 11am 

Our u16 boys continued their good start to the season with a 4 point victory over Killybegs on Sunday. They now play Bundoran away at the weekend.

The u8s and u10s started back training on Thursday last in the tech gym. Training continues this Thursday in the tech gym U8s start at 6:30pm and u10s start at 7:30pm, new players welcome.

Club membership is now up for renewal, we will be holding a membership open day on Saturday the 23rd from 3pm to 5pm in the old school in Carrick and from 5:30pm to 7pm in the clubhouse. 

Our Ladies team kick off their season this Saturday the 16th of March in the Comórtas Peil na Gealtachta away to Kilcar, throw in is at 11am in Towney, We wish Gerard, Rory and the ladies the very best of luck for t the season ahead.

Our u16 boys won in a tough battle against Ardara on Sunday they are now home to Killybegs on st Patrick's day at 12 noon.

Seachtain na Gaeilge i nGleann Cholm Cille! 

Tá Lár Chomhairle Paróiste Ghleann Cholm Cille ag reáchtáil Scéalaíocht do Theaghlaigh ag Páirc na nGael ar an Satharn seo chugainn, an 16 Márta, ó 11-12.30. 

Beidh tús curtha leis an Scéim Léitheoireachta do Theaghlaigh fosta, a bheidh ar siúl ar feadh ceithre seachtaine. Tá an scéim dírithe ar theaghlaigh le páistí bunscoile, agus beidh sé saor in aisce.

Lár Chomhairle Paróiste Ghleann Cholm Cille will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge with a storytelling session for families in Páirc na nGael on Saturday next, March 16th, from 11-12.30.  This will also see the launch of our reading scheme for families, which will run over four weeks. The scheme is aimed at families with children in the national schools, and it is free of charge to participate.
