ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & MONTH’S MIND
Billy O’Connor
Drumrooske, Donegal Town & formerly Teelin

The wife and family of the late Billy O’Connor wish to express their sincere gratitude to all who supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply thankful to the many relatives, friends and neighbours who attended Billy’s wake and funeral, to those who travelled long distances to be with us, and to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, and messages of condolence.

Special thanks to Fr. Sweeney who celebrated the Funeral Mass, to sacristan Mary Theresa, and to Brian O’Sullivan and all the musicians and choir for the beautiful music and singing, which brought great comfort.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Funeral Director John B. O’Donnell and Tirchonaill Funeral Home for their professionalism and compassion, and for providing such an exceptional facility for Billy’s wake.

Our gratitude goes to the doctors and staff at The Grove Medical Practice for the care shown to Billy over the years, and to all at Donegal Community Hospital for their kindness and compassion during his time there. A special word of thanks also to his carers, Zofia, Vivian and Ann, for their dedication and support.

We are especially grateful to those who provided food during the wake, which was deeply appreciated, and to the Central Hotel for hosting the beautiful meal after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a sincere expression of our appreciation.

Forever remembered and deeply missed by his loving wife Máire, his children Liam, Cathy, Patsy, Peter, Carol and Des, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

Billy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Killymard, Donegal Town, F94 C6T7, on Sunday, 28th September, at 11.00am.
