Prayer for Beginning of School Year
As the new school year begins, we come together to seek the blessing and guidance of Our Lord. It is the time when students, teachers, and parents all gather to embark on a new journey of learning and growth. This back-to-school season marks the start of a fresh chapter in our lives, filled with opportunities and challenges, and it is our hope that through this invocation, we may find strength and inspiration for the year ahead.

Dear Lord, we humbly ask for your presence and guidance as we venture into a new school year. We pray that you grant us the wisdom to make the most of every learning opportunity and the strength to overcome any obstacles that come our way. May this year be filled with Joy, Knowledge and Grace for each and every student, teacher and parent.

ALONE
ALONE is a national Irish Charity and support organization founded in 1977 that enables older people to age safely and happily at home. ALONE has information sessions regarding the services they provide. Donegal Hospice Collection
On behalf of Donegal Hospice Mary Service would like to thank everyone who supported the recent fundraising Toll on Carrick bridge and at the school in Meenaneary.
Thank you to everyone who helped on the day.
A total of €3,262.70 was collected.
€891.70 in Meenaneary and €2,371 in Carrick. The money will be used locally by the Palliative Care Team to care for the terminally ill at home and to buy much needed equipment. Thank you.
