Life still has meaning
If there is a future there is time for mending
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.
Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow,
If you are looking forward to a new to-morrow.
If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping,
When through doubt and darkness your are blindly groping.
Though the heart be heavy and hurt you may be feeling
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.
So if through your window there is new day breaking,
Thank God for the promise, though mind and soul be aching,
If with harvest over there is grain enough for gleaning,
There is a new tomorrow and life still has meaning.

A Prayer for Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot receive you now in Holy Communion, come spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never let me be parted from you. Amen.
