Jobs Boost for Carrick following Distillery Approval
The area received a jobs boost with news that planning permission was granted for the new Sliabh Liag Distillery in Clogher, they posted the following on their Facebook Page:
We are delighted that delivered in the post today was a letter from Donegal County Council issuing their decision to GRANT planning permission for the Sliabh Liag Distillery.
This is a momentous day for us and another step towards our goal of reclaiming the distilling heritage of Donegal, bringing long term jobs to the Parish and enhancing tourism in the area.
We are really grateful to the team at Corner Stone Architecture who have worked tirelessly to develop the distillery that will also retain and enhance the existing buildings, and thanks too to all the professionals and friends who have helped us get this far....you know who you are!
