Donegal Local Development Company Ltd (DLDC) is one of fifty independent local development companies established by the Irish Government.
We deliver major funding programmes most notably the Rural Development Programme (LEADER), the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme as well as other complimentary programmes.
We operate throughout most of the county of Donegal with the exception of the Inishowen Peninsula where similar services are provided by Inishowen Development Partnership Ltd www.inishowen.ie
DLDC is governed by a Board of Directors whose membership is in keeping with the Irish “social partnership” model.
The Board of Directors is the ultimate decision making body within the organisation. The company currently employs some 360employees and has an annual turnover in excess of €3million.
