The Kilcar Cultural Committee are delighted to that Zoë Conway, one of Ireland's most highly regarded fiddle players, accompanied by John McIntyre (guitar), are returning for a concert on this Saturday night (19th August). The couple played to a full house at last year’s concert in the Áislann.

Zoë came to prominence as a member of Riverdance and has since gone on to establish herself as a major solo artiste and performs regularly with various other musicians and orchestras. She has three albums to her credit, the most recent with John McIntyre. Zoë also featured prominently in the concerts broadcast on RTE TV and Radio on Easter Sunday and Monday 2016 marking the centenary of the Easter Rising.

John McIntyre is no stranger to south west Donegal, he was a member of the internationally successful Kilcar based band 'The Revs' and his father is a native of Malinbeg.

Saturday's concert takes place in the Kilcar Parish Hall, doors open at 8.00 pm, concert 8.30 and refreshments are served at the interval. Admission €10, children €5.
