Carrick Charity Auction yet another huge Success!
Carrick Charity Auction has been a huge success again this year with the sum of €30,092 collected. €28,092 was donated to Alzheimer Society Donegal Branch and €2,000 donated to four local charities. The committee would like to thank all those who donated lambs for auction, one hundred and thirty items for the night auction plus cash donations. All the people who bid and bought without whom there would be no money raised.
They would also like to thank the line sellers, the Slieve Liag Staff, Monica, Majella, Carolyn, Paula and Carol Ann, the FÁS workers and photographers, auctioneers Malachy, Clement and John Paul, Ivan for sound system and also Karl Mullan for his contribution. Well done to the whole community you have raised approx €115,000 for charity over the last five years.
