A Wake in The West coming this December
This coming Christmas we here at Kilcar Variety Group are delighted to announce that we will be performing the hilarious 3 Act comedy "A Wake in the West" for 3 nights only over the festive season taking place in the Parish Hall. Starting with Friday December 25th we bring to you a Special Christmas night concert in memory of the late Willie McShane.
As we were to perform the Play earlier in the year around the time of his passing we decided to postpone it and thought it would be a nice tribute to a man who was a respected, instrumental figure in Drama circles and he also had a very proud tradition of holding Christmas night concerts for years gone by. Along with the Play we will also have some special guest singers it promises to be a great nights entertainment in memory of a great character.
The other two nights to catch the show over the Christmas holidays are Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th of December and all proceeds raised over the three nights will be donated to Donegal Alzheimer's Branch. So mark your calendars and come along to support this great cause.
