Coiste Forbartha na Carraige Elections 2021

Following the nomination process for the new Coiste Forbartha na Carraige committee a total of 149 valid nominations were received, 47 people were nominated.
We have now contacted all of the people nominated. A total of 22 have agreed to allow their names to go forward for election to the committee.

The election will take place in The Old School, Carrick on Saturday Evening (27th November) between 4 and 8:30 pm.
Anyone over 18 years of age living or working in Carrick Development District can vote. This includes those working part-time and owners of holiday homes. The District comprises the following townlands: Meenaveen, Creeven, Meenawaughran, Carrick Upper, Carrick Lower, and the Carrick settlement area. The Carrick Settlement Area includes the houses in the Parish of Kilcar on the Bogagh Road and on the Line Road to the farthest extent of the Football Field.
